StartCon has named the winner of the Pitch for $1 Million competition, with Adelaide-based artificial intelligence technology startup Daitum taking home a $1 million investment term sheet thanks to Right Click Capital

Adelaide-based artificial intelligence (AI) technology startup Daitum is now closing $1 million in fresh funding from Right Click Capital after winning the grand final of this year’s Pitch for $1 Million competition.

“StartCon searched Asia Pacific, home to over four billion people, to find the top 600 startups in the region. Through regional finals in 15 cities across Asia  in the past months we narrowed this down to the final 30 who competed on the weekend to narrow down to the final six on the main stage at StartCon” – Cheryl Mack, StartCon CEO

“In the end, Daitum won over the judges, claiming the $1 million term sheet from Right Click Capital. Congratulations to the whole Daitum team! I’d also like to congratulate the hundreds of other startups that participated this year; these pitch events may prove to be the springboard to global recognition for promising startups from the entire region” Cheryl Mack, StartCon CEO
